1982 – Present - Information Systems Technician/ Telecommunications Analyst Oversee telephone service needs (MAC), upgrades and configuration of PBX, Lucent Definity G3, BCS, Nortel Meridian and Fujitsu (200 to 2000 circuits) as well as other small Key Systems. My responsibilities include end-user training on applications for various systems.  Scheduling and coordination of crews, assurance of Quality Control issues regarding compliance with training standards, as well as being the principal onsite customer liaison for design issues and daily progress issues. I generate daily progress reports, safety/incident reports and design modifications as needed.  I install category‑5e, 6, 710 Splices, FX/TX, FDDI, networks. I  terminate and test fibers (SM/MM), ST, SC and MIC connectors to Cisco series, and various  fiber optic switching equipment, repeaters, routers and T1 interfaces; new and existing installations without disruption of existing service. Read and work from blueprints, tech manuals, splicing schematics and cut sheets, complete complicated circuitry, perform maintenance & troubleshoot a wide variety of vendor Telecommunications equipment, not limited to the above mentioned.  I’ve coordinated and negotiated projects and maintenance contracts with outside vendors and contractors such as, Lucent Technologies, AT&T, Pacific bell, GTE, SIMM J Harris, MH Golden, Time Warner, and Motorola for products, services and upgrades.
